In 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, my life took an unexpected turn. At the time, I was working at a financial institution with a stable salary, but deep down, I needed something more, a project that would spark joy and keep me inspired.
One day, my daughter, a passionate photographer, said something that lit a fire in me:
“Mom, since you always love looking so beautiful, why don’t you open a shop where you can bring in jewelry that feels just like you?”
That idea stayed with me.
After sharing it with my sister, she introduced me to a brand she followed. And there it was, everything clicked. The pieces were beautiful, top-quality, and most importantly, they were perfect for people like me, with hands that need a little more room and comfort.
That’s when Nana & Nannies Shop was born, named after my youngest granddaughters, who were filling my days with light and joy at the time. From that moment on, I’ve had the incredible privilege of sharing these unique European accessories with women who, like me, appreciate elegance with character.
Today, we proudly curate handcrafted jewelry from Spain and Italy, working with designers like Tra-La-Ra, B@G, Tucco, Maldita Rita, and renowned names like Svitati and Katerina Vassou. Each piece is carefully chosen to reflect our values: quality, individuality, and timeless beauty.
